    1. The second of two "special" episodes uniting the Sixth Doctor with Jago and Litefoot, this sees the trio arrive at Roanoke colony just as it is discovered mysteriously abandoned. It's a famous historic mystery, albeit likely one with a prosaic explanation, but, here, Jago soon begins to fall prey to apparently supernatural forces, leading the others to make the journey to the forbidden island of Croatoan. The supernatural elements do fit well with what the Jago & Litefoot series has already d [...]

    2. I have to say this just came across as a bit of an odd setting for Jago & Litefoot and the Doctor. For some reason the 16th century colony and the ghost story just didn't seem to work. The story was a bit confusing and at the same time not have much to it. Superb performances but I just feel like it would have worked better with a different doctor/companion combination.

    3. The Doctor attempts to take Jago and Litefoot to the pub. They land on a beach in early America instead, something is killing off both the colonists and natives. This is quite a complicated story, very different in tone to the previous adventure. Jago and Litefoot shine again, though are not as much in their element as on an alien planet surprisingly. A good listen.

    4. Jago and Litefoot continue their travels with the Sixth Doctor. I don't have much to say about this one. The TARDIS crew attempts to solve the mystery of Roanoake. That's a piece of history that never grabbed me, so this story felt a bit 'meh' to me.
