    1. Just an interesting little book that I picked up at General Convention in Richmond that talks about interesting things related to the Union and Confederate sides of the Civil War.

    2. I didn't like this book. It seemed interesting when I read the back of the book, but all the stories in a chapter are pretty much the same. In chapter 5 (or was it 6?) every soldier has a dream that he's going to die, and then they do. Boring! The theme of this book is prophecy. Apparently, strange signs are really important if you want to survive. After all, you don't want to end up like the many, many, many, many people who went through the exact same thing.     3. Strange Tales of the Civil War was a okay book. The main theme was prophecy. This book is filled with things that are predicting the future. That is why it is called the strange tales of the civil war. Like when this boy carves his head on a headstone, and is later killed in battle. This guy dreams of his son bleeding to death then his son falls of horse the ext day. Just a bunch of dreams and mysterious omens.
